17 Days to Go: Let’s Get Ready for a Big Week

We are now just 17 days away from Election Day, and advance polls open in 10 days. This is the moment where we shift into high gear and make sure we’re doing everything possible to engage, inform, and mobilize voters in our communities.

πŸ—“️ What’s Coming Up This Week?

πŸ”Ή Understanding the Ballot – Do you know who’s running in your riding? Have you researched who your unity candidate in your riding is? A unity candidate is the progressive candidate in your area who is most likely able to beat the PC in your area. Go to NotOneSeat for 416 candidates and Cooperate For Canada for those outside the 416.

πŸ”Ή Building Momentum – Our Riding Champions are gathering key insights about their local ridings—who’s engaged, who needs more information, and what issues are shaping this election. If you haven’t joined yet, now is the time. Can you be a champion in your riding?

πŸ”Ή The Early Voting Push – Advance polls open in just 10 days! That means we need to start reminding people now to make a voting plan. Studies show that voters who plan when and where they will vote are far more likely to actually cast their ballots.

πŸ’‘ Takeaways For This Week

Voter Apathy is Real—but Not Inevitable.
Many people feel like their vote won’t make a difference. We need to change that mindset by sharing why this election matters, what’s at stake, and how even a small increase in turnout can shift results.

Talking to People Works.
Whether it’s knocking on doors, sending a text, or chatting with a neighbor—personal conversations are the most effective way to get people to vote. Let’s start having those conversations now.

It’s Not Too Late to Get Involved.
From joining a Riding Champion team to sharing social media posts, everyone can play a role in increasing voter turnout.

πŸ“£ What You Can Do This Week:

πŸ“Œ Find Your Riding Candidates – Research the issues and help others do the same, their is a lot at stake.
πŸ“Œ Talk to Your Circle – Ask family & friends if they have a voting plan, offer to help.
πŸ“Œ Join the Movement – Whether as a volunteer or just a voice spreading the word, your effort counts.

Let’s make this the week we turn up the energy. Ontario, the clock is ticking.

Get ready, get engaged, and get voting!
