Day 5: The Midpoint Before the Sprint – Why Every Hour Counts

We’re five days into the election campaign and while it might feel like there’s still time, the reality is we’re already close to the midpoint before the final sprint. Every campaign is shifting into high gear and what happens now will decide whether we have the momentum to win in the final stretch.

Here’s what we know so far:
✅ Some ridings have strong volunteer teams forming—others need urgent reinforcements.
✅ Voters are starting to pay attention, and early conversations are shaping how they’ll vote.
✅ The other side isn’t waiting—they’re mobilizing, fundraising, and getting their message out.

If we wait, we lose. The time to get involved is right now.

What You Can Do Today:

🔹 If you haven’t signed up yet, do it today. Find a campaign, knock on doors, make calls, and help organize your riding.
🔹 If you’re already volunteering, bring a friend. The best way to grow our impact is to get more people involved.
🔹 If you’re a Riding Champion, submit your riding report. Data is key to knowing where we need to push harder.

Looking Ahead: The Final 10-Day Push

We’re already planning for the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) push in the last 10 days. That’s when everything will come down to turnout. We need to be ready. The work we do now will determine whether we have the volunteers and voter lists we need when it counts most.

Don’t wait—step up today. Ontario’s future is on the line.

📢 Sign up. Show up. Make it happen.

Day 4 - The Power of Conversations: How Talking to Voters Wins Elections

Every election, millions of dollars are spent on ads, mailers, and social media campaigns. But do you know what’s still the most powerful tool in winning elections?

One-on-one conversations.

At the doorstep, on the phone, in the coffee shop—talking to voters directly is how we build support, change minds, and ensure progressive voices turn out on election day.

Why Conversations Matter

They cut through the noise – Voters are bombarded with information, but a real conversation with a friend, neighbor, or volunteer stands out.

They build trust – A personal conversation allows us to listen, answer concerns, and show that we care about real issues—not just winning votes.

They turn people into voters – Many people support progressive change but don’t always make it to the polls. A reminder from someone they trust can be the difference between staying home and showing up.

What Are the Most Effective Conversations?

Canvassing – Knocking on doors remains one of the most effective ways to engage voters. People appreciate the effort, and face-to-face interactions help us understand what matters most to them.
Phone & Text Banking – Not everyone is home when we knock, but we can still reach them by phone or text. A simple “Do you have a plan to vote?” makes a difference.
Talking to Friends & Family – The best way to mobilize voters? Talk to the people you know.

Research shows that personal conversations with friends and family are more persuasive than any ad or flyer.

Our Focus: Turning Support Into Action

Many Ontarians want change. But change won’t happen unless people show up to vote. This is why every conversation needs to:
Highlight the stakes – What happens if we don’t elect better leaders?
Make voting easy – Where to vote, when to vote, how to vote. Remove all barriers.
Ask for a commitment – “Can I count on you to vote?” Getting a firm yes increases the likelihood they’ll follow through.

Your Challenge Today: Have 3 Conversations

Today, we’re asking everyone to talk to at least three people—a friend, a coworker, a neighbor.

1. Do you know when and where to vote?
2. What issues matter most to you in this election?
3. Can we count on you to vote for change?

Small actions lead to big victories. Let’s get talking. Ontario’s future depends on it.

Why Riding Champions Matter & How Data Helps Us Win

The Ontario election is moving fast, and every single day counts. With less than 30 days to make an impact, we need to be organized, strategic, and prepared—and that’s where Riding Champions come in.

What is a Riding Champion?

A Riding Champion is a key point person in their local riding who helps track campaign activity, identify voter priorities, and ensure we have the strongest possible Get Out The Vote (GOTV) push in the final stretch. They are the bridge between campaign teams and on-the-ground volunteers, helping to make sure no riding is overlooked and that every effort is maximized where it counts.

Why Data Collection is Essential

When Riding Champions fill out our Riding Data Form, they provide critical insights that allow us to:

Identify priority areas where there is a need to knock on more doors, make more calls, & boost turnout

Track voter concerns to make sure our messaging is resonating with the community

See where volunteers are needed and ensure every riding is fully staffed for the final push

Prepare for the final 10-day sprint when we shift into full Get Out The Vote (GOTV) mode

By tracking key details—volunteer numbers, voter concerns, and engagement levels—we can make data-driven decisions that will help flip key ridings and hold the current government accountable.

Messaging for the Final Push: The Last 10 Days

The final 10 days of the election will be all about turnout. Even the best campaigns can fall short if supporters don’t show up to vote. That’s why our messaging needs to focus on:

📢 Urgency – This is the last chance to make a change. Every vote counts.

📢 Impact – Remind people what’s at stake: healthcare, education, affordability, and accountability.

📢 Ease – Share where, when, and how to vote, making it as simple as possible.

📢 Momentum – Let voters know that change is possible if we all step up together.

The work you do now—building lists, organizing volunteers, and collecting data—will decide how strong our GOTV push can be

If we go into the final days with a clear strategy, we can make sure every last supporter turns out and delivers the win.

How to Get Involved

🚀 Step up as a Riding Champion – Take the lead in your community

📝 Fill out the data form – Help us build a strong strategy

📞 Recruit volunteers – Every door knocked, every call made, matters

🗳 Prepare for GOTV – Get ready to push hard in the final days

If we all do our part, we can make this election count. Let’s get to work.

The Clock is Ticking: Why Getting Involved NOW Matters

The Ontario election is here, and we have just less than 30 days to make an impact. This is the moment where every conversation, every volunteer shift, and every door knocked can help shape the outcome.

But here’s the reality: if we don’t step up, the other side will.

The Real Consequences of Low Engagement

In every election, there are two types of people: those who show up and those who don’t. The sad truth? Low voter engagement and volunteer participation often mean that decisions are made by a small, highly motivated group—which may not represent the broader public interest.

In Ontario, we’ve seen what happens when progressive voters and volunteers sit on the sidelines:

  • Cuts to public services that impact our healthcare and education systems.

  • Inaction on critical issues like housing affordability and climate change.

  • A government that ignores community voices because those voices weren’t loud enough at the ballot box.

This election isn’t just about electing representatives; it’s about demanding better leadership and ensuring that progressive candidates have the support they need to win.

We Have the Numbers—But We Need the Action

Polling shows that many Ontarians are ready for change, but change doesn’t happen on its own. It takes volunteers on the ground, organizing and mobilizing voters. If we don’t engage now, we risk another four years of policies that don’t reflect our values.

Here’s what’s at stake:

Flipping key ridings where progressive candidates have a real chance to win.

Holding incumbents accountable for decisions that have hurt communities.

Ensuring voter turnout so that we don’t see a repeat of past low-participation elections.

What Can You Do Right Now?

1️⃣ Sign up to volunteer. Whether it’s canvassing, phone banking, or data entry, every role matters.

2️⃣ Become a riding champion. Help organize volunteers in key ridings and build momentum where it’s needed most.

3️⃣ Spread the word. Talk to your friends, family, and colleagues about why this election matters. Share our posts and encourage others to sign up.

4️⃣ Donate your time & skills. Not sure where you fit in? We can help! There are many ways to contribute that suit different schedules and skill sets.

This election will come down to who shows up and does the work. We can either watch from the sidelines or be the force that makes history. Let’s get to work—because Ontario’s future depends on it.

📢 Join us today. Let’s make every day count.

Day 3: Never Volunteered for a Campaign? No Problem!

 We hear this a lot:

💬 “I want to help, but I’ve never volunteered for a campaign before.”

If that’s you—welcome! You don’t need political experience to make a difference. In fact, most volunteers start exactly where you are now.

Here’s How You Can Jump In Today:

🚪 Door Knocking – The most effective way to reach voters! No experience? No worries! Every campaign pairs new volunteers with experienced ones.

📞 Phone Banking – Want to help from home? Phone banks let you connect with voters without stepping outside.

💻 Social Media & Digital Outreach – If you’re online, you can help spread key messages, correct misinformation, and reach new voters.

📋 Event Support & Data Entry – If you prefer behind-the-scenes work, campaigns need help organizing events, tracking voter outreach, and keeping everything running.

No Experience Needed—Just a Willingness to Help

Campaigns provide:
Training – Every role comes with a simple guide or mentor to help.
Flexibility – Volunteer as much or as little as you can.
A Team – You won’t be doing this alone.

We have less than 30 days to make an impact. Let’s get started today!

Day 2: The Time for Action Is Now

Yesterday, we called for volunteers. Today, we get to work.

The election is moving fast, and campaigns are still getting their teams in place. That means right now is the best time to jump in and make a real impact.

Where Do You Fit In?

Not sure where to start? We’ve broken it down into three ways you can help right now:

🔹 Be a Riding Champion – Every riding needs someone keeping track of what’s happening on the ground. Can you be the go-to person in your area?

🔹 Sign Up for a Volunteer Role – Whether it’s door knocking, phone banking, or digital outreach, campaigns need people. Sign up today, and we’ll connect you with a team that needs you.

🔹 Spread the Word – Every single share, repost, and conversation helps. Post online, text a friend, and talk to your neighbors. This election is too important to stay silent.

The Road Ahead

This is Ontario’s first winter election since 1981. The weather will be cold, the days will be short, and voter turnout could be lower than usual. That means every single vote matters even more.

We have 28 days left to make sure progressive voices are heard.

Day 1: The Countdown to Change Starts Now

The election has officially begun. For the first time since 1981, Ontario is heading to the polls in the winter. and while many campaigns are still scrambling to get set up, we can’t afford to wait.

With just 30 days to turn the tide at Queen’s Park, every hour counts. That’s why we need Riding Champions—dedicated volunteers who will step up in their communities to connect with local campaigns, organize efforts, and help get out the vote.

Why Riding Champions Matter

Election campaigns are won on the ground. Candidates and their teams are working hard, but they can’t do it alone. A Riding Champion will:
Keep an eye on the race – Who are the progressive candidates in your area? What’s the state of the race?
Mobilize volunteers – Help connect people to campaigns and get more boots on the ground.
Push the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) effort – Make sure every progressive vote gets counted.

This is how we win = One riding at a time + One volunteer at a time + One vote at a time

How You Can Help

📍 Step up as a Riding Champion – We need people in every community to take the lead.
🤝 Sign up to volunteer – Even an hour of your time can make a huge difference.
📢 Spread the word – Share this post, tell your friends, and let’s build momentum.

We only have 30 days.

If you’ve ever wanted to see change in Ontario, now is the time to make it happen.

Sign up today and let’s clean up Queen’s Park together.
